Modern Type & Correct Conformation

Domnic Moore is a stallion that represents a modern sport horse built in accordance with the highest standards of contemporary performance breeding. He displays a harmonious, well-proportioned frame with strong fundamentals, combining athleticism, balance, and functionality—essential qualities for top-level sport.

His exterior reflects strength and elasticity, supported by a well-developed topline and correct limb structure, allowing for efficient movement and long-term soundness. The overall impression is that of a refined yet powerful athlete, with a type that meets the expectations of today’s international sport.

Temperament & Rideability

Equally impressive is Domnic Moore’s character. He combines a balanced, cooperative temperament with the right amount of energy and willingness to work. This creates a horse that is both reliable and responsive, making him an ideal partner for training and competition.

His rideability and attitude are further confirmed by his performance test results, where he received high marks for temperament and willingness. This mental strength, paired with athletic ability, forms a strong foundation for future sport success.

Pedigree & Proven Performance Lines

Domnic Moore carries an exceptional combination of European bloodlines. The refinement and rideability of the Hanoverian breed merge with the power, scope, and technique of Holsteiner lines, further enriched by Selle Français influence in previous generations—known for elasticity, courage, and jumping ability.

His sire, Diacontinus (by Diarado), brings world-class jumping genetics, including Diamant de Semilly and Contendro I, both renowned for producing top-level performers. On the dam side, Demi Moore (by Don Carlos) contributes proven Hanoverian strength, rideability, and reliability.

Importantly, this pedigree is already well proven in sport. Several siblings and close relatives are successfully competing at higher levels. Notably, a half-brother by Diacontinus is an approved stallion with results at 150 cm level, while Diarada has achieved results in 140 cm competitions—clearly demonstrating the consistency and high performance potential of this line.

Foal Guarantee for Breeders

The Foal guarantee covers breeders whose mare does not get in foal, or loses the foal before birth.

If the mare does not become pregnant in the current breeding season: Hesselhoej offers the breeder the amount of 1. rate for the next breeding season.
If the mare loses the foal after the 2. rate is paid: Hesselhoej offers the breeder the 2. rate amount for the next breeding season.
Please note that the 2. rate will be “free”, but that the 1. rate must be paid again.

This gives the breeder extra security if the mare does not foal, or if the mare loses the foal after the 2. rate is paid.
